Friends All over the Globe,
At this point of time we all need to stand united.
India must not bow to this unfortunate calamity, so let us stand united to give full support to our Government's effort in combating this global epidemic. May God the Almighty protect us as a nation and spring us to rise back stronger from this adversity.
We thank respiratory therapists around the world for their patience, professionalism, hard work, sacrifice, and commitment to providing excellent patient care during the COVID-19 pandemic. Healthcare is constantly changing and due to recent events, we need respiratory therapists now more than ever.
All those who are involved in fighting this, your personal and professional sacrifices do not go unnoticed. Many of you have sacrificed time with loved ones, self-care, and your own safety to provide care to those infected. It is because of you that so many patients affected by the virus are getting medical attention. We also appreciate doctors, nurses and also all the more those who are working on the "front lines" to fight the pandemic.
Many of us have the privilege to self-quarantine and isolate and try to stay healthy, and none of you have that privilege. You all have to be on the front lines of this thing and what is certainly bad now, but may even get worse.
So, this is just from all of us around the Globe to all of you to say a big thank you. We appreciate you, we all love you. Stay safe.
At the same time in a pandemic, individuals can contribute to helping stop the spread of the virus by staying home if you’re unwell and working from home if you can. Action starts with learning the facts about the virus and the health measures we can all be taking to keep ourselves safe, and we can all better protect ourselves and those around us.
We all have to take responsibility for ourselves and do whatever it takes to #stopthespread. There’s a sense of urgency to flatten the curve and give ourselves and the healthcare system the best chance to get through this pandemic.
Friends, Let’s all get together and say a prayer:
As more people get sick, healthcare workers and first responders are working longer hours with fewer supplies and with more risk of contracting the new coronavirus themselves. Renew their energy and sustain them on long shifts. Bring Your protection upon them as they work with patients. Multiply their supplies so they have the protective items needed to stay safe on the job. Inspire and invigorate the research doctors developing better tests to diagnose the virus, create vaccines to prevent it, and identify protocols to eliminate the disease’s spread.
