Hi Friends,
Greetings! Hope you are all doing good.
Just thought of penning my thoughts on the word “Hate” which is being frequently used all over the globe. It is a very strong word and it can be incredibly serious when used in relationships. Hearing "I hate you" is hard to take even when you know the person who said it doesn't mean it. I guess I feel like the word hate should only be used when talking about entertainment or other trivial matters and not used against another person. This hatred has even led to killings without realising the consequences. As you never know what the next minute holds for us and may regret it all through our lives.
Hatred is a poison that fills your body. It becomes impossible to think of anything else but the object of your hatred. Sometimes if you don't encounter the object of your hatred for a length of time, the hatred may dissipate throughout your body. You may be under the impression that the feeling is gone. The truth is that is has spread like a cancer. It is very important if possible to tell the person who you are angry with how you feel. If this is not possible it might be helpful to discuss your feelings with others. In any case do not let this hatred sit and poison your body.
Words are powerful stuff. “Hate, it has caused a lot of problems in the world, but has not solved one yet.”
“There is, I believe, in every disposition a tendency to some particular evil, a natural defect, which not even the best education can overcome."
"And your defect is a propensity to hate everybody and is also willfully to misunderstand them.”
They say actions speak louder than words, but the action of speaking certain words can still take a toll on someone's emotions. When you say you "hate" someone, you don't realize how you could potentially hurt somebody by saying so. It's the selfishness that many people have come to adapt themselves to -- they don't think of others. No one ever wants to be heard that they're hated, and a lot of times, people say they "hate" someone just because they did one thing wrong. People need to think before they speak -- that's an action we should all take. Yes, it is very strong word”.
Although not as strong as abhor, hate is quite strong, being the complete opposite of love. I agree with the anyone who will comment above this comment, that hate is a word that must be very carefully used. Don't use it unless you really hate something or someone, and even then, you must consider!
Hate is a very very strong word in my dictionary, my friend!!
Hating someone is just too hard in my book, especially when you got to be around that person everyday. Letting go is hard but that what you need to do to move on.
I hope you all will agree with me!
Bye for now!
