Amritsari Keema Matar (Mincemeat cooked with Green Peas or White Peas) & Cilantro Mint Chutney
Keema Matar is a delicious dinner party dish that can easily be prepared with easily available ingredients
in your kitchen is not more than an hour.
Keema Matar is a famous dish of Mughal origin and is most famous in the Indian sub-continent.
This is cooked with mincemeat (lamb or chicken) and Green Peas or Potatoes.
You can also use White Peas/White Matar/Ghugni Matar (preboiled).
For Vegans, you can use soya keema instead of lamb or chicken.
Best served with steamed rice, Jeera rice, Rumali roti or Tawa roti for a wholesome meal.
