What I am going to pen down is a true incident which took place very recently. It is about when people have discussions on religion / politics and then that is when the controversy starts. In the first place we should never discuss on these topics, as you all very well know that this leads even to wars.

Each of us should respect the religion of each other and never comment on the beliefs of others may it be Hindu, Sikh, Muslim, Christian or any other religion for that matter. I think it's silly to call God as Hindu or Sikh. God is God. And whoever anyone worships, it probably goes to the same guy (sorry for using this word guy, I am not being disrespectful).

I think you’ll agree that only rarely can you claim that your anger when discussion gets rough and is both warranted and helpful, whether to yourself or the other person who is discussing on some point which he refuses to accept as he feels very strictly staunch on his part.

Some people need to open their small minds instead of their big mouths and be brave enough to hear to others’ points also even. Some people never realize the emotional and mental damage they do to others.

I just don't care if anyone doesn't like me when I am talking facts. I wasn't put on earth to entertain everyone.

Everyone has the right to be angry but that doesn't give them the right to be cruel with their words. They need to have an open mind and be able to have a healthy discussion and behave like a matured person and try understand the other person’s point of view so that unwanted situation does not arise and starts each one flinging unwanted words at each other. Anger is a condition in which the tongue works faster than the mind.

You can re-evaluate the situation from a more reasonable, adult perspective— you’ll need first to find some way of settling yourself down first to find some way of settling yourself down, be calm and then come to a conclusion.

I am sure that everyone will agree with me that religion and politics is one thing one should avoid discussing and end up with a bad taste in the mouth and spoil relations as everyone’s religion is for them to decide on what they believe in. If you don’t believe in idols it is okay but why let others feel that they are doing wrong as they have a right to believe in what they have been believing. You may not believe in it then please don’t comment on it. There are also other religions who don’t believe in idol praying so who are we for that matter to stop them from their belief. You don’t have to go on announcing to the world that what your belief is just right and others are doing wrong- it is your personal prerogative. Everyone have their own rights!

I leave it to you all Friends to decide as I am very sure you are all matured enough to think what is right or wrong.
